      Frequently Asked Questions

FSSAI registration is an essential step in this process, as it helps to establish the necessary controlling procedures and standards for food businesses to follow. By obtaining FSSAI registration and following the guidelines set by the authority, food businesses can ensure that they are providing safe and high-quality products to their customers.

Here are the four steps for FSSAI license registration:

      • Collect the necessary documents: The first step is to gather all the required documents, such as the application form, food safety management plan, and food hygiene certificate.
      • Choose the appropriate license type: There are three types of FSSAI licenses - basic, state, and central - and you need to choose the one that is appropriate for your business.
      • Submit the application: Once you have all the necessary documents, you can submit your application to the FSSAI either online or through the designated food safety officer in your area.
      • Wait for approval: After submitting your application, you will need to wait for approval from the FSSAI. This process can take several weeks, so it's important to plan ahead.

Once your application has been approved, you will receive your FSSAI license, which you will need to display prominently in your place of business.
