PF Balance Check using EPFO Portal
Keeping track of your EPF balance is simple, once your Universal Account Number (UAN) has been activated. All workers in the EPF scheme receive one UAN to use throughout their working life, no matter which companies they switch to. UAN is the key to accessing your PF account services online – you can view your balance, apply for an EPF loan, and more, quickly and easily. Once your UAN number is activated you follow these steps to check your balance- Open EPFO Portal, select the tab ‘our services’ and choose “employees” from the drop-down menu
- Now under ‘services’, you will find an option “members passbook”
- A login page will pop up, enter your activated UAN number and password
- Now you can select the ‘Member ID’ and click on the ‘view password’
- Your PF details along with your passbook will be displayed on the screen
- You can print this passbook by selecting the “download passbook” option.
PF Balance Check through SMS
Update your UAN with your KYC details and follow these simple steps to stay informed:- Send an SMS to 7738299899 in the format ‘EPFOHO UAN [language]’, where [language] is the first three characters of your preferred language, e.g. ENG for English.
- You can choose from English, Hindi, Punjabi, Gujarati, Marathi, Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Bengali.
PF Balance Check Through a Missed Call
You can inquire about your EPF balance by giving a missed call to 011-22901406 from your registered mobile number. This service is only available upon the integration of your UAN with your KYC details. If you are unable to avail of this service, you can take the help of your employer to get your UAN updated with your KYC details.PF Balance Check Using the UMANG/EPFO App
All Employees registered for EPFO can check their balance on their mobile by downloading the Unified Mobile Application for New-age Governance (UMANG) app. Along with the EPFO balance check, the app allows you to access various other EPF services like filing and tracking claims. Members must complete a one-time registration using their UAN-registered mobile number to access the app. Using the UMANG app to view your EPF balance and transactions:- Download the UMANG app from Google Play Store or App Store.
- Select the “EPFO” option listed under ‘All Services’ tab.
- Login using your UAN and registered mobile number
- Under ‘Employee Centric Services’, select ‘view passbook’
